At American Sports Car Design, we take

I actually bought my hood back in
2002 and am just finishing a 3 year build (started back in 2004).
Your hood was excellent quality. Here’s the story of my
car thus far:
I bought this beauty back in 2001 with only 19k miles on it. After
less than 8 months of owning it I purchased my SS hood. After
a failed single stage paint job I had to strip the hood of the
enamel paint and get a real paint job…2 stage PPG! 1 year
later I installed a supercharger which grenaded my automatic transmission
after only 7k miles. That was the point I took her off the road
and carefully prepared my hood for storage off the car. After
removing the entire driveline, stripping the engine bay and repainting
black I’m ready to hit the road by Sept. ’07. Car
is put back together and running.

I bought one of your ta-800's back
in January. Got it on and painted up...looks great!!! Great product,
little tricky getting to fit at first but all worked out in the
end!!! Anyway, it's a 1991 Trans Am....I've added 4th Gen Wheels,
MacEwen Motorsports white face gauge inlays, new sound system,
4th Gen center console, all new vinyl decals, K&N filter,
Flowmaster, new tint....and a whole lot more!!!! I LOVE the hood!!!
I'm always getting looks and compliments on it!!!! I've also gotten

Here is a photo of my son's "17th"
birthday present. This is a 1992 Camaro 25th Anniversary RS model
that I completely restored spending some 3 and 1/2 months on the
project. You will note that I have added one of your hoods as
the crowning jewel on the car. This SS style hood completely sets
this car apart from all the rest of the Camaro's here in Southeastern
Florida. The only difficulty I had with the hood was I had to
to do a good deal of trimming in order to get the windshield wipers
to clear the rear of the hood where it meets the glass. I used
a grinder to shave away fiberglass (quite a lot) so the wipers
would run without hitting the hood. Other than that it was pretty
straight foreword. Thanks for a great product. The car is
now owned by "Curtis Roberts Jr" of Miramar, Florida.

My 1986 Camaro IROC-Z Choo Choo Customs
Convertible has your SS hood, and it is one of my favorite appearance
mods! I always get compliments on the hood, which is also one
of the main reasons that the car turns so many heads over here
in Norway. The hood has a nice finish and is very solid - so thanks

Hello, I am the proud owner of this
1992 Camaro Z28 V8 350 complete with your ASCD IROC Daytona Fiberglass
hood. I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada and I knew the risks of
having it sent that far to my home however with the EXCELLENT
comments on ASCD quality, I decided to go for it. From all the
comments I've read on a number of message board, ASCD has the
BEST quality for fiberglass products. When I received it, I was
shocked.. The hood is VERY strong. I was told about how fiberglass
hoods were very thin and very likely to be full of waves. This
was NOT the case with your hood. YOUR Hood was VERY strong, VERY
well built, and VERY structurally put together. With the unique
painted hood (Blue w/ silver), and the hood.. I'm proud to say
the car seems to attract very nice comments. It's been featured
on many message boards, profiles, and recently was put on the
front cover of a popular music band in Nova Scotia called "Smack

My 92 Ford Thunderbird is now complete
thanks to your Cobra R hood. The fit and quality greatly exceeded
my expectations. The factory latch mechanism and my factory hood
struts worked very well with your hood. The car has a mild 306,
with a Vortech S-trim supercharger. The wheels are chrome 2000
Cobra R, 18x9 rear, 17x8 front, the body kit is from Xenon.xt

This is my '87 IROC with you SS Hood!
I wanted to get a fibre glass hood for the longest time and all
I could find was cowls. They are to frequent on Camaro's and I
wanted to be different. Then I saw the SS Hood and I just had
to get it! The car has been in a few shows and has won 2 - 1st
places and 1 - 2nd place. Remember that was before the hood. I
expect to dominate the shows now!! Thanks so much for making my
car stand out and above the rest

I have heard a lot about how fiberglass hoods are a pain to fit
to your car, but, your hood bolted right on and lined up perfect.
I sanded - painted and here is the finished product. Looks Sweet
huh? All my friends say it makes the car, I agree.....Thanks Again

I bought this big block hood from you
guys about 2 years ago. It was the best thing I could have done
to the car. The hood and the flames really set the car apart from
every one else. When the body shop installed the hood they asked
me where I got it from because they said it was one of best hoods
they ever put on. They didn't have to shave anything. Just wanted
